My name is Thi Ngoc Trang Tran. I am currently a lecturer at Hue University (Hue, Vietnam) and also a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at Graz University of Technology (Graz, Austria), in the Institute of Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, within the Applied Software Engineering & AI group. My research addresses key challenges at the intersection of recommender systems, user modeling, and human-decision making, with the goal of improving the effectiveness, transparency, and user acceptance of intelligent systems. I have developed and applied recommender system approaches for both individual and group settings, drawing on techniques from information retrieval, machine learning, and configuration technologies. My current work focuses on integrating human factors and psychological aspects into recommender systems, particularly through explainable recommendation techniques that enhance personalization and support better-informed user decisions.
