Chiara Marita Szolderits has obtained her MSc in Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity at Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt in 2025. Her Master’s thesis investigates the impact of generative AI tools on professional software development, focusing on productivity, software quality, and ethical implications of human–AI collaboration.
Prior to this, she completed a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Applied Computer Science with focus on AI at Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt in 2023. She focused on the application of AI and automation techniques to optimize industrial failure analysis processes.
Alongside her academic studies, Chiara gained extensive industry experience as a software engineer for over 5 years. Her work included the development of neural networks for defect classification, the use of natural language processing to incorporate unstructured customer data into AI models, and the integration of AI solutions into production-level software systems. Since 2025, she has been working as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on AI-related projects, requirements engineering, and the coordination of interdisciplinary development teams.
Her academic interests include LLMs, AI agents, and AI-assisted software engineering, with a particular focus on the application of intelligent systems in IT project management. She is especially interested in the use of AI for pre-sales activities, requirements analysis, resource planning, and product line scoping, as well as in exploring how AI-driven decision support can enhance efficiency, transparency, and strategic planning in complex software projects.
